I work at an automotive dealership and "Regina" called to get a copy of a service invoice from when a vehicle was recently in for service. The vehicle is listed under the name "Hugh Kelly" or "Cross Trade Consulting" She asked me to fax the invoice to her but also gave me a fax number, which is similar and a mailing address to mail a copy. Strange rambling call from some guy named Jerry Mason. I think the phone number may be spoofed. I don't know. Strange.

Received a similar call stating that he needed a court document notarized. Provided a case#, but I haven't been able to find any cases with the number he gave in my state's court records. I also filed bankruptcy as well as had my house foreclosed. All debts except for some small medical bills should have been covered under one of those actions.

I think this is from a telemarketer.

CLAIMS TO BE A LAWYER AND DEMANDS I SEND A LETTER BY E-MAIL OR FAX AUTHORIZING THEM TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT IF NOT CONTINUING CHARGES AGAINST ME AND THAT I WILL BE ARRESTED AT WORK!

calling to sell subscriptions to the Record (local paper). they are EXEMPT from do-not-call lists.
